*K and K are 13 months old*
We've been having so much outdoor fun lately, and I wanted to share one of the simple ways we've made water play more fun. I added a bag of balls
to the baby pool then filled it to the brim with water. J-Bug hopped in first while eating an apple from our tree. This picture really cracks me up. Oh to be a kid again.
Peanut played in the pool all the way until nap time. He especially enjoyed throwing the balls
out onto the grass.
Tank was a bit more interested in taste testing each ball
.
J-Bug has requested this every day since we did it a couple weeks ago. It has become the new favorite. Such a simple way to stay cool and enjoy summer.

Oh how sweet! I think I really need to buy some balls for the pool!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely idea to keep cool & have fun at the same time! Thanks so much for adding this to the outdoor play link up, Kierna
ReplyDeleteWhat a simple, fun idea...my husband and I were recently talking about how sad it is that our kids won't grow up with big ball pits. I bet my boys would love this!
ReplyDeleteThis is so much fun - it's one of the things we did whenever we had a warm day over the summer - T loves them so much.
ReplyDeleteThank you for linking up to Tuesday Tots this week
We turned our pool into a ball pit when it sprang a leak! I know the balls would have been even more fun if it had still held water!
ReplyDeletethis looks like so much fun! i love those giggles in the first pic :) thanks for linking up to tip-toe thru tuesday!
